The impact of Google on the digital economy
Deloitte's study measures impact of the technology company on the economy, in Brazil and in the world, and reinforces the need for companies to be attentive to the new digital marketing tools.
January-March | 2017The report “Economic Impact of Google”, conducted by Deloitte for the online services and software multinational, reveals figures on the influence of the use of digital marketing tools in the economy, with data on various countries around the world, including Brazil. The data on the Brazilian market endorse the growth and consolidation of the digital marketing as a business driver and reinforce the importance of the practice among the local entrepreneurs, in the midst of an economic scenario in recovery. The study was based on data from the twelve-month period between January 1 and December 31, 2015.
Among the main benefited by a digital strategy based on the solutions offered by Google are, according to the study, companies that use the search and advertising services to reach customers; content creators that expand their audience, monetize their content and connect to customers around the world through applications; companies that use cloud collaborative tools to increase productivity; and organizations that take part in training for the development of digital abilities.
